About the AAAAI

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) is the leading membership organization of more than 7,000 allergists / immunologists (in the United States, Canada and 72 other countries) and patients' trusted resource for allergies, asthma and immune deficiency disorders. This membership includes allergist / immunologists, other medical specialists, allied health and related healthcare professionals—all with a special interest in the research and treatment of allergic and immunologic diseases.

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology is dedicated to the advancement of the knowledge and practice of allergy, asthma and immunology for optimal patient care.

The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology
(JACI) is the most-cited scientific journal in the field of allergy and clinical immunology. The JACI has been named one of the most influential journals in the past 100 years by the BioMedical & Life Sciences Division of the Special Libraries Association. The JACI traces its roots back to 1929 with the first edition of The Journal of Allergy.

The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: Global
The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: Global
(JACI: Global) is the Gold Open Access journal of the AAAAI Journals portfolio. In addition to providing a forum for authors mandated to publish fully open access as a condition of their funding, JACI: Global covers a wide spectrum of research, including translational and clinical research, basic and bench science, phase I/II clinical trials, population studies, as well as regionally relevant research conducted by allergy / immunology investigators.

AAAAI Newsroom
The AAAAI is your source for unbiased, trustworthy information and expert commentary on allergies, asthma and immunologic disorders. The AAAAI’s online Newsroom provides resources of interest to journalists writing for consumer or trade audiences. Visit aaaai.org for the latest information on allergic diseases from the experts. Many public education materials are also available in Spanish.

Pollen Counts
The AAAAI operates the National Allergy Bureau (NAB), the largest network of certified pollen counters in the United States. Pollen and mold reports are issued through the NAB website. The site also contains information on common seasonal allergy triggers.
