2025 AAAAI / WAO Joint Congress

Abstract Press Release and Embargo Policy

To maintain the integrity of the research presented at the 2025 AAAAI / WAO Joint Congress, the AAAAI has an abstract press release and embargo policy. Please note that you as an author are responsible for notifying affiliated academic institutions, public relations/advertising/marketing companies, and private organizations and companies associated with your abstract about this policy. AAAAI reserves the right to suspend violators from submitting abstracts the following year.

Once abstract authors have received official notification from the AAAAI that their abstract has been accepted and programmed at the 2025 AAAAI / WAO Joint Congress, abstract authors (as well as any affiliated academic institutions, public relations/advertising/marketing companies, and private organizations and companies associated with the abstract) are permitted to promote the abstract title, authors, date and time of presentation (including the session details if the abstract is being presented in a session), and that it has been accepted for presentation at the 2025 AAAAI / WAO Joint Congress. This promotion can include a press release, media alert, or related materials, but only the aforementioned abstract details should be included and not the abstract results and findings.

Any press releases, media alerts, or related materials describing the abstract results and findings must be embargoed until February 10, 2025, which is the date the abstracts will be published in an online supplement to The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI). As of that date, abstract authors (as well as any affiliated academic institutions, public relations/advertising/marketing companies, and private organizations and companies associated with the abstract) can promote the abstract findings and results, and any press releases, media alerts, or related materials describing the abstracts findings and results can be issued.

Any press releases, media alerts, or related materials do not need to be reviewed by the AAAAI, but please be aware that they must not indicate AAAAI endorsement or use the AAAAI logo.

If you have any questions about the 2025 AAAAI / WAO Joint Congress abstract press release and embargo policy, please email Candace Archie.
