Admission to Sessions
Admission to 2024 Annual Meeting educational sessions is reserved for meeting registrants and registered members of the press only. Guests and exhibitors will not be admitted to educational sessions. In consideration of fire codes and as a courtesy to others, those without tickets will not be allowed into ticketed sessions.
Airports
Dulles International Airport (IAD) is located approximately 25 miles / 37 minutes from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is located approximately 4 miles / 15 minutes from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Annual Meeting Mobile App
The AAAAI has a mobile app dedicated to the 2024 Annual Meeting. This app features tools allowing you to search by speaker or session type, organize your schedule, evaluate speakers and sessions, claim credits, respond to polls and ask questions in sessions, stay current with changes as they occur during the meeting, and navigate the Convention Center with floor plans and exhibitor information. The 2024 Annual Meeting app will be available for download in October 2023 from the App Store or Play Store on your mobile device.
Associates (Spouses & Friends) to the AAAAI
The Associates (Spouses & Friends) to the AAAAI provides networking opportunities and events for the spouses and friends to the AAAAI. Full membership in the Associates is included in each spouse/guest registration fee. Membership includes volunteer opportunities and a chance to participate in the future programming for the Associates.
Children and Guests
The AAAAI asks delegates to refrain from taking children, spouses or guests to any educational session offered at the 2024 Annual Meeting. For local childcare options, we recommend contacting the concierge staff in your hotel. Registered guests are welcome to relax in the Hospitality Suite or visit the Exhibit Hall. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18 at all times.
Committee Meetings
Committee meetings are held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting for the purpose of conducting AAAAI-related business. Current and newly appointed members of each committee are expected to attend these meetings. Discounted Registration Fee for Fellows/Members from Developing Countries
The discount program for members from developing countries offers current AAAAI Fellows and members in countries designated as “low income” or “lower-middle income” by the World Bank (based on gross national income per capita) a 50% discount on registration fees. Your eligibility requirements will be verified before your registration is processed.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Current AAAAI Fellows and members, with membership fees paid through December 2024, are eligible for this discounted registration.
2. Only individual delegates who pre-register by Wednesday, January 31, 2024 for the Annual Meeting are eligible for this discount. This discount is not available to individuals who register after January 31, 2024 or groups.
3. The registering delegate must permanently reside in one of these eligible countries:

Lost & Found
Any items turned in to the Registration Desk will be kept for 30 days after the conclusion of the 2024 AAAAI Annual Meeting. After 30 days, any unclaimed items will be discarded.
Recording of Sessions
Individual recording of educational sessions is not permitted. Recordings of the Annual Meeting will be available online approximately two weeks after the conclusion of the live meeting. The recordings include presentation slides along with video and audio for the Plenary and Keynote sessions, and presentation slides synchronized with the audio recordings for selected courses, symposia, Interest Section Forums, workshops, pro/con debates and allied health sessions. Registration
Access to online registration will be given to AAAAI Fellows on Wednesday, October 4, 2023; to all AAAAI members on Wednesday, October 18, 2023; and to all delegates on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Exhibitor registration opens on November 8, 2023. The deadline for early registration pricing is Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The registration desk will be located in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Level 1, Salon A. Please allow adequate time to collect your registration badge in case of lines, especially if you plan to pick it up on Friday morning. Onsite registration will also be available.
Special Accessibility Needs
If you require special arrangements in order to fully participate in the Annual Meeting, please include the request at the time of your registration.
Special Dietary Requirements
All menus served at the Annual Meeting will be free of nuts, pork and shellfish. Vegetarian options will be available at all functions with food. If you are a vegetarian, please inform the server assigned to the room at the beginning of the session. If items on the daily, pre-arranged menu do not meet your special dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, kosher) an alternative option can be made available. Please notify an AAAAI staff member at the Registration Desk to ensure arrangements are made. Special arrangements require at least 24 hours advance notice.

Transportation
Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan National Airport offer various types of ground transportation for your visit. Rental cars, taxis, public transportation, ride share services, (such as Lyft and Uber) and the Washington Metro train line are all available.
Taxi service from Dulles International Airport to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and nearby hotels is approximately 25 minutes and approximately $55-60 not including gratuity (traffic during peak times will cause delays and increased fares). Taxi service from Ronald Reagan National Airport to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and nearby hotels is approximately 15 minutes and approximately $20-25 not including gratuity (traffic during peak times will cause delays and increased fares).
